The North York Moors National Park has established Youth Voice to help promote the role of young people within the park.
I worked with them in the summer when we did a public speaking workshop and from that evolved this portrait project. The initial idea was to capture the members working out in the park but that proved quite difficult so quite a few portraits have been created in the studio.
It’s been great to meet them and learn about their various roles. It might be the project changes a little in focus but discussions are ongoing with the PR team so we’ll see how that goes.
So here’s a small selection of portraits starting off with Phoebe, chair of Youth Voice, who has been a huge help co-ordinating the project.
Check out the blog to see more Youth Voice portraits.
I’ll hopefully catch up with the other members very soon.
