I’m a North Yorkshire based photographer, writer and communications trainer.

Creativity has always played a part in my life but it is only in recent years that photography has become more than an occasional hobby.

My experience of web sites and blogging led to a commission to document the construction of a major property in my home town of Kirkbymoorside. That involved over two years of photographic work, covering the demolition of a derelict building through to the completion of a multi-million pound country house. The resulting coffee table book will not be publicly released but re-invigorated my interest in photography.

In the last 12 months I have completed two documentary projects. The first of these was the local pigeon racing club – the ‘Kirkby Flying Club’ and the second  ‘Women of Kirkbymoorside‘.

Books on both of these projects have been published using Blurb and local exhibitions have attracted great support.
