Southwold holiday

Never been to this lovely seaside town before so enjoying exploring the photographic opportunities it offers.

Traditional image of beach huts but a black and white one too, I like the way the road arrow points down the line of huts:

This and the ones below are from the port area. It’s really interesting so I’ll be going back.

Love the water tower:

I did a bit of an experiment using overlays using interesting textual surfaces I found, like rusting fence posts, and as below overlaid them on the river view down at the harbour.

I have also taken lots of photos of religious icons I discovered in Southwold Church and used those as overlays too, below on a portrait I did of Marco last year.

The main thing was to give Joel a great holiday and I think we did!
