The Infinity Bridge over the River Tees, Stockton

Infinity Bridge, Stockton at night

My weekly visit to Stockton taking Jake to his basketball began with a lovely drive through Bilsdale, one of the loveliest of the North York moors. Autumnal colours and a clear blue sky at 6pm meant it was hard to keep my eyes on the road, however young pheasants, recently released, meant I had to focus to avoid carnage!

By the time we got to Stockton the light was fading fast so I just got on to the Infinity Bridge in time for the final throes of daylight. I created a post about the bridge back in May but this one is definitely a night time shoot:

pushed the blues for even more drama!

And then the bridge lights started to come on:

the lit grids at the base of the arches caught my eye

Such a beautiful bridge, during the day but especially at night.

Learn more about the bridge and in particular the lighting.
