Infinity Bridge, Stockton

Infinity Bridge, Stockton

I took Jake to basketball last night so had an hour or so to kill. It’s been a while since I’ve taken him and the first time this year when it’s been light enough to walk along the Tees in daylight. It was a lovely evening, quite warm and lots of people were out and about.

Infinity Bridge is spectacular at night when it’s lit up but last night was bright and sunny. I’ve made most of these black and white as I think they work better with the curved form of the bridge. I used the ‘nifty fifty’ Canon lens as my Ricoh is in for repairs. Brought the 85mm too but didn’t end up using it. I’d be tempted to bring along my 24mm next time to get even wider shots.

This was an attempt at capturing a reflection in an office window – not totally successful so will have another go next time I’m there.

Leading lines!!

A little jetty where the rowers clambered in and out of their boats. A pity I missed them doing this – next time.

Thumbs up to the Infinity Bridge!
