I subscribe to Frames photography magazine and have found their masterclasses really good. I also keep an eye out for Tomasz Trzebiatowski’s challenges on YouTube.

The essential idea behind these challenges is that there are photos everywhere – even in a messy hotel room – you just need to look for them. Well I’m not staying in a hotel room any time soon but the challenge got me thinking about taking photos at home, I thought about doing three for each room but in the end that was a little over ambitious. Still here’s a selection:

An excellent exercise. I might well do more about the house and do a little Blurb book just on the house after all we’ve been here 25+ years so that’s worth marking.
