A short walk on the moors

A lovely hot summer day so at 6pm Rach, Carole and I headed off to visit the moors at Lastingham, stopping for some chips along the way.

Although it was a leisurely stroll I don’t like to hold people up while I snap away, so just a few.

The grasses were gorgeous, swaying in the early evening orange glow.

I’d read recently about opening up the aperture fully to get a sunburst so tried it here.


Three layers – woodland, field and fence – thought it looked more distinct in black and white.
