We had planned on visiting Albufera with Sara, Sam and Ben but time ran out. So just the two of us took the short bus ride to this region known for its rice growing, wetlands, wildlife and beaches. There were options to take a boat trip and to eat paella once there but, like Buñol, it was very quiet (and cold!)
I grabbed some pictures and thought how it would make a fabulous summer excursion – then we caught the bus back to Valencia!
