As part of my ongoing ‘Women of Kirkbymoorside’ project I recently photographed our town clerk, Lisa Bolland. Following on from what was an hilarious and fun shoot she proposed she bring her daughter along next time for a mother and daughter session. With Christmas coming she thought it would be lovely to give her parents and husband a portrait of the two of them.
When they arrived the following weekend Abigail seemed a little reluctant and, being a teenager, I could understand why but we were soon laughing and joking around and, in the end, I think she enjoyed it.
I made some portraits of Abigail alone and then the two of them.
