A foggy day had been promised on Saturday so I thought I’d head off to Scarborough. It was misty as I left home but not particularly thick and the journey across to the coast was similar. When I got to Scarborough, parking on Marine Parade, it was certainly atmospheric on the beach as I walked towards North Bay and so it remained for a couple of hours until the sun burnt it off.
There were more surfers around than I’d ever seen before. The waves were good.
I made friends with this crow, feeding it bits of croissant, as I walked back in the direction of the Spa.
A good day out which was only spoilt a little by being soaked by a large wave crashing over and on to Marine Parade! Luckily I managed to protect the camera but had a rather a humiliating mile walk back to the car!
